Overview

NYC Nightlife ("we", "us", or "our") operates nynightlife.com (the "Site"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Site.

Email Collection

We collect email addresses for our newsletter and lead magnets (free guides). Email collection is:

  • Voluntary: You provide your email when you opt in
  • Secure: Emails are stored securely with our email provider
  • Optional: You can unsubscribe at any time

Form submissions are delivered via FormSubmit; when a newsletter provider (such as MailerLite) is added, this policy will be updated. These providers are bound by data protection agreements.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar browser storage to understand how visitors use our site and to show ads:

  • Google Analytics counts visits, pages viewed, time on site, device type and general location.
  • PostHog shows how visitors move through the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and anonymous session recordings. Anything you type into a form, and the conversation in our Nyla chat assistant, is hidden and never included in these recordings. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, PostHog is turned off for your visit. See PostHog's privacy policy.
  • Google AdSense may show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (or at aboutads.info). See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

These tools don't tell us who you are unless you contact us. If you give our Nyla chat assistant your email address to join the list, it is sent through the same form service as our signup form. We do not sell your personal information.

Affiliate Disclosure

We may earn affiliate commissions from partner links on our site. This is how we aim to fund the site.

Our Affiliate Partners:

How it works: When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Your price is the same whether you use our link or go direct.

Our Promise: We only recommend partners we genuinely believe in. All recommendations are made in good faith. Commission rates never affect which partners we recommend.

Third-Party Links

Our Site contains links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing your information.

You have the right to:

  • Request your data
  • Correct incorrect data
